She is an IFMNT practitioner and health educator skilled in an approach to assess and develop interventions for nutritional and lifestyle imbalances characteristic of chronic disease. Diana has authored many articles and chapters in nutrition professional and lay publications. She has been awarded the DIFM Excellence in Clinical Practice Award in 2010 and DIFM Lifetime Achievement Award 2015. She is currently a candidate for an Institute for Functional Medicine Certificated Practitioner (IFMCP), trained in the study of nutrition, supplements, nutrigenomics and specialty functional testing. She is a sought after international speaker, consultant, mentor and educator on the benefits and concerns using integrative and functional nutrition, an expert witness regarding medical cases and a co-editor of an IFMNT textbook for the University of Kansas Medical Center KU Integrative Medicine Clinic.
